On Saturday June 26, 2010 Brantera Music Group, NuFace Entertainment & Soul 106 will partner to host a series of events featuring R&B star, Musiq Soulchild. The day’s festivities begin with a private Meet & Greet with Musiq Soulchild from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Kristol Blake Salon & Spa (735 N. LaSalle) and end with the Official Afterparty from 9:00pm-3:00 am at The Living Room Lounge (1100 West Cermak). During the Meet and Greet, there will be Musiq Soulchild concert ticket giveaways, Official Afterparty ticket giveaways and opportunity to have Musiq Soulchild autograph purchased copy of Silky Soul Music…An All-Star Tribute To Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly. The afterparty opens with the infamous community forum “Urban Dialogue with Suzette” featuring guest host, Musiq SoulChild. The two will lead a discussion at 10:30 pm on the theme “Saving Our Communities One Living Room At A Time.” The influence of black music has been translated in various ways over decades throughout the community providing hope, education & inspiration.
