This post is dedicated to the greatest Hip Hop producers/beat-makers of all time, James Dewitt Yancey (February 7, 1974 – February 10, 2006), better known as J Dilla. Before December 1996 Pete Rock and Large Professor were my favorite producers, but then I heard Slum Village’s, Fantastic Volume 1 and my admiration for Dilla’s beats began to grow…not to mention he was a dope MC as well! This is just a mix of some of my favorite “Dilla Joints.” Hopefully you will enjoy it…the only thing I ask is that you make a donation to the J Dilla Foundation. Let’s keep his legacy alive!
